Going Home to Heaven

Passage: John 14:1-3, Matthew 7:21-23, Matthew 25:31-46, Matthew 19:21, Galatians 5:19-21
Service Type:

Jesus, who was fully God, took on the flesh of humanity. He came to earth as the homeless one in order to issue us an invitation written in His blood to come home with Him in heaven. He now declares to those who are told by the police you can't sleep here, and then when they knock on the locked church doors late at night, and no one answers, “Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:1-3).
